I like photos that leave you a little uneasy. Not to the point of “disturbing”, although that can be good at times too. Just that slight feeling of “strange” that might provoke a question. i am always clipping out images that I like and posting them on my INSPIRATION BOARD in my office. And some of them always make me stop, look deeper and ask questions.

I was going through a recent shoot’s out takes and found these. Its funny to see the INSPIRATION BOARD working. I can see the influence and they even give me that ever so slight feeling of uncomfortableness an curiosity.

I always have a Nikon FM with me. And because i don’t know exactly how many times to wind it when I load it…the first few frames are always interesting.

Here’s the first 3 from a day at Kolohe Andino’s house.

by the way…my last post was #100. yahhh, it only took me 2 years.

So, its a been a great year so far. I’ve been busy, traveling a lot, finishing up 2 campaigns in multiple sports. I promise to update some photos and info once I can divulge more about them.

For now, heres a few photos from the Art director on our last shoot in Australia. This was during the scout day. We were jet-lagged as hell but found our way through some really nice spots. Thanks Jesse.

Below that are some shots that I took randomly during the shoot. They could be misfires, tests etc. I’m not really sure, just like them.

this was called Fengal. it was purrrrty.

our room looked out over snappers to kirra.
